When the nature around you make a show with all its colors, setting your creative fire alight, only the gorgeous hand-dyed yarn with color change from Hedgehog Fibers and Madeline Tosh can keep up. Combined with airy and soft Isager Silk Mohair yarn and Katrine Hannibal’s beautiful design, we here bring you a shawl inspired by the stunning nature by the shores of Vesterhavet in Kandestederne, just a smidgen south of Skagen, where Katrine spends many of her days in her second home. The Skagen shawl is simple to make, elegant and beautiful as the sky in early spring. You can use it as a scarf in the cold winter months, or as a light shawl over your bare shoulders in the summer.
This yarn kit contains: 3 colors of Hedgehog Skinny Singles or Madeline Tosh Light, 5 skeins of Isager Silk Mohair and a pattern.
The pattern is a PDF file. After purchase you will receive an e-mail with a link to download. Furthermore the pattern will continue to be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-)
Choose colors for your yarn kit above. Unfortunately some of the colors for the original shawl are sold out, and as the yarn is hand-dyed we have to wait a while for a new batch to be dyed. In the mean time we have put together some beautiful color combinations for you.
