Yarn kit for Bernadette, a lovely, basic raglan Sweater with pocket details. The colors and stripes can be adapted to fit your wishes, and it is a great sweater that you can use for many occassions.  

The sweater in this kit is knitted in Isager Alpaca 2 and Silk Mohair.
The sweater can also be made with our super soft 100% merino wool, Önling no. 2, see related products below. 

This yarn kit contains: Isager Alpaca and Silk Mohair, yarn for the elected size. The yarn kit does not include knitting pattern. The pattern is part of the book Favorite Knits 1, and can also be purchased separately - see related products below.

One color of Alpaca is knitted with Silk Mohair double stranded throughout.

Recommended circular needle and doublepointed needles size 3,5 mm and 4,5 mm / US 4 and 7. 

8 stitch markers.

2-3 meters/yards of marking yarn for the pocket.

21 sts and 28 rows in stockinette stitch on a 4,5 mm / US7 circular needle = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

The sweater is worked from the top down. First the yoke is worked back and forth while raglan increases are worked together with increases at the beginning and end of the row, to shape the neck line. Then stitches are cast on for the front of the neck and the work in joined in the round. The rest of the yoke is worked in the round with raglan increases. Then the work is split into body and sleeves and each piece is finished separately in the round.
